eHealth Award 2019 kick off

Welcome to a kick off for eHealth Award 2019 with inspiring talks on the Swedish government’s and SKL’s Vision for eHealth 2025. The eHealth Award recognizes Swedish startups with innovative digital solutions which contribute to realize the government’s and SKL’s vision.

When? 24 January at 9-11.30, followed by lunch

Where? Studio, Nordenskiöldsgatan 24, Malmö

Participation is free but registration is required. Space is limited. The event is hosted by the Innovation Skåne led project HealthTech Nordic.

About eHealth Award

The eHealth Award is set up to recognize Swedish startups with innovative healthtech solutions which contributes to realize the government’s and SKL’s Vision for eHealth 2025. The award is a collaboration between Vitalis, HealthTech Nordic, Cerner and Sahlgrenska Science Park.

Registration for the award opens on 24 January 2019. The winner will be presented at the opening ceremony of the largest eHealth event in Scandinavia, Vitalis, in Gothenburg on 21 May 2019. The winner will receive SEK 50,000 and consultancy services worth SEK 80,000. The jury’s assessment criteria are based on Vision for eHealth 2025.

The eHealth vision: World’s best by 2025

The Swedish government’s and the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (Sveriges Kommuner och Landsting, SKL) have agreed on a joint vision on how to better utilize the potential of digitization in healthcare and social services:

”In 2025, Sweden will be best in the world at using the opportunities offered by digitisation and eHealth to make it easier for people to achieve good and equal health and welfare, and to develop and strengthen their own resources for increased independence and participation in the life of society.”
