Gedea Biotech and Sinntaxis, two biotech startups from SmiLe Incubator in Lund, have reached the final in the EIT Health Catapult competition. Gedea Biotech has the first treatment that expects to treat and prevent both fungal infection and bacterial vaginosis simultaneously. Sinntaxisis committed to discovering, developing and commercialising novel therapeutics that enhance recovery of brain functions after stroke. On December 4ththey will compete against five other European startups to win win prize money and a chance to be introduced to international investors.
