2019-05-11 | Innovation expertise

Almost 40 companies from the aerospace, energy and design industries in Europe gather in Malmö May 14-15 to discuss innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. They have been selected by the European project Cross4Health with the aim of collaborating between sectors to develop tomorrow’s solutions to the healthcare challenges.

Four of the companies come from Skåne.

  • Kreativitetsbanken works with virtual tools to inspire and motivate people with movement restrictions and or function variation.
  • Protetiko develops digital tools to facilitate logistics and orders in dental care.
  • First & Ten works with educational tools to inspire children and young people into activity.
  • Frogsong Studios is a game developer with projects aimed at motivating and supporting patients’ rehabilitation at home.

– The Cross4Health project provides both financial value for the companies and a chance to develop exciting solutions together with partners from other industries and countries. It will be exciting to follow our Skåne companies and the development of the new solutions during the project, ”says Magnus Wallengren, project manager for Cross4Health Sweden, at Innovation Skåne.

Cross4Health is a cross-sectoral development project in aerospace, ICT, creative sector, energy and Life Science to create innovative solutions in the healthcare sector. Applicant projects have been formed in collaboration between two companies that together described a solution to specific challenges, which have been developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals. The projects selected are now included in Cross4Health’s nine-month acceleration program, and receive EUR 55,000 per company in the form of financial and other support.
