Aiming to boost FoodTech and AgroTech development in Skåne, Innovation Skåne in collaboration with the Barrel AI network held an interactive half-day conference with stakeholders on November 8th. Thank you to all participants and especially to our panelists and presenters: Björn Ekelund, Ericsson; Sofia Ehlde Oatly; Anders Herlin, SLU Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet; Oscar Bagge och Mats Persson, IBM and Betty Toth from Krinova.
Our ‘Artificial Intelligence & FoodTech in Skåne’ conference, gathered 70+ Skåne stakeholders such as AI experts, company and startups representatives and decision makers in the field FoodTech. The aim for the conference was to identify synergies and collaborations and we’re thrilled with the engagement and the collaboration created during the day!
Some takeaways from the panel discussion: Skåne is a great region and we have many advantages in foodtech, apart from fertile soil we also have a collaborative environment, advanced tech competence and the ability to quickly adopt to new technology. The panel agreed that we have the right conditions – what is needed is a decision that this is an area where Skåne want to take the lead.
