The bootcamp is offered by Innovation Skåne in collaboration with Cerner and is a week-long programme designed to support early-stage start-ups and SMEs focused on digital health management outside the walls of a care facility. This initiative is aimed at tackling three key challenges facing start-ups offering digital solutions in the healthcare sector: customer acceptance, integration with existing technology and systems, and international expansion.
Project teams will benefit from direct exposure to the Cerner healthcare ecosystems, and sessions geared towards user-centred design and open API design for generalisation, internationalisation and portability. Technical advice and real-world case studies from system providers within the industry will help teams validate their innovations to solve real-world problems.
The journey towards care at home is one of the main strategic programmes in Sweden nationally. It started long before COVID-19, but has dramatically accelerated as a result of the pandemic. This provides developers the opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping delivery to help citizens manage. Cerner will be looking for companies that develop solutions which complement their offerings, with a view to promoting them among our client base.
